Using Ted Reed's 'Syncopation for the Modern Drummer' book, I take you through the first 20 bars of Lesson 11's 40 bar rhythm reading exercise with guitar chords/bass notes and clapping out the rhythms. This exercise has a mixture of semiquavers (sixteenth notes), quavers (eighth notes) and crotchets (quarter notes). It also has some new note groupings that you might not have come across before ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
