Initially when Darren asked to perform this simple 80's hit with Sing It Live I thought he was taking the mickey. Boom! See what I did there… 🤣
As it turned out, there was a lot more to this song than I had originally thought. Darren and I have a chat about recording this Toni Basil classic as well as songwriter Mike Chapman. Oh and those cheerleader costumes too…
